Which feminized scent that you prefer the most? Modern or Vintage?
The modern feminized perfumes on the title here mean the sweet and full of vanilla scent which is the most popular business fragrance; The vintage kinds of perfumes in this article mean the old types of scents, such as Chanel No.5 and so on that smell not so "young".

When people are choosing a bottle of perfume for themselves (especially those perfumes were made for women), the options they can mainly choose are just those kinds of very sweet, feminized, fruity, and strong perfumes, which is the popular trend in the society that we are living now. It sounds like a good idea to make women use those very sweet perfumes to make them smell like a huge piece of candy or cake to express their youth and energy to help them be more attractive to men. However, this could be a disaster for those who don't like sweet scents. For example, East Asians usually like fresh, light, and elegant scents that cannot be noticed by other people easily. This attitude of choosing fragrance is the opposite of the modern mainstream of the Western fragrance industry. But at the same time, there are plenty of other perfumes and colognes that do not have certain gender requirements, and the mainstream of those fragrances is fresh and clean, which is suitable for everyone to wear. So, if some of you don't like the popular scents on the market that have detailed gender differences, you can try those cologne that are unisex.
Another kind of people, prefer scents can bring them back to a few decades ago, like when people are using perfumes that include Aldehydes, Eastern spices, or some old perfumes that created before the 2000s that include moss, these scents could create a sense of which is kind of serious, official, and give people a kind of feeling that back to the "old time". For example, the Emeraude by Coty is an old perfume that launched in 1921. Although according to what I know, the city company seems to want to stop producing modern Emeraude cologne, when I was wearing that cologne, I could still have a feeling that getting close to a gentle old lady, can help me relax and get calm too. Indeed, when people are wearing vintage perfumes(whether the 'vintage' part is their launch date or not), they definitely cannot make people feel young only through their noses. Also, the wearers feel 'young' not only by smelling, but also according to their dressing and makeup styles, and with their personalities too. The perfume could help the wearers to make their profile stronger in front of others in a certain way.
If you ask me which type that I prefer? I would say I like vintage perfumes more than those popular sweet fragrances that we can meet every day at the stores now. I prefer the 'old' type of feeling, I am a kind of nostalgic person, so wearing vintage perfumes is the best way to help me to have a connection with those old days that I still have not been born yet. I have some celebrities who had already passed away before I was born, so wearing and collecting the perfumes that were launched when they were young or alive, and having some imagination about them when I was wearing those perfumes can always help me be happy and relaxed.
Also, there should be no certain standards that what kind of fragrances you should like. It doesn't mean that we are living in a modern society so we have to like those perfumes which are matching with the standard of nowadays perfume markets. It also doesn't mean that if you like those sweet and new perfumes you have a bad aesthetic too. Everyone has different noses, and the chemical incline of everyone could be different too. We should respect others' affinity and keep our own opinions and likes at the same time.
